Maya is a film-maker and actress based in Manchester, England. She started off wanting to do acting and thought making her own films would be easier than getting acting roles but in that process fell in love with directing. When starting out making her own films, before anything was released, she set up the production company 'Maya TV'. Now there is a few short films released including 'WORST SLEEPOVER EVER!' & 'The Bad Assassin' which she made in school & 'A Message to My Younger Self' made at college. She has been studying for various qualifications to help her with film first at school and now at college.
