Imafidon Gift Jesurobo-Owie

Imafidon Gift Jesurobo-Owie is a screenwriter, director and producer based in Glasgow, Scotland, and the founder of Stillhouse Pictures. He was one of the producers of All the Colours of the World Are Between Black and White, which won the Teddy Award for Best Feature Film at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival. His other credits include The Anomalous Series and On My Knees, and he is an alumnus of We Are Parable's Momentum programme. Alongside filmmaking, Gift has built a career in fraud investigation and intelligence analysis, work that has shaped his fascination with how people watch, observe and are seen. His Nigerian heritage and life in Scotland inform stories that explore grief, memory and belonging, often told through minimal dialogue and quiet, visually driven storytelling. Before Night Comes, an arthouse short shot in Edinburgh, marks his latest work as writer and director.
